December 2020, The Art Gallery of Western Australia
Through friendship and a love for the arts, six emerging contemporary dance artists have come together to create a new work that reflects the varying perspectives of young people today. Deconstructing individual experiences of certainty and uncertainty, strength and vulnerability, December Project presented by Drug Aware gives a voice to each member of the group as they explore their place in the world around them.
December Project invites you into the playful, curious and passionate worlds of the dancers, reflecting the ‘whats’ and ‘whys’ of the young dancers’ lives within the shared space of the Gallery.
This work is apart of AGWA Pulse a year-round program of art experiences and events for 15-21-year-olds.
